It's been a while since we've heard from actor Marc Zammit. He appeared in the magazine a couple of years ago in our 'new faces' section. So it was a nice surprise to find out he's doing well and even nicer when he sent us over some pics from a new shoot he's just completed with photographer Simon Bennett. Shot in Uniq Studios these pics are designed to show off Marc's 'wilder side'!
This talented young man's been busy - appearing in The Kid which had a cinematic release last year and doing some television work with parts in Law & Order and Holby City. He's also been branching out learning more about directing and is planning a move to Los Angeles that he is confident will progress his work.
With this shoot showing his versatility and ability to push his own boundaries we're going to keep an eye on this talented young actor's progress in the months to come...

For those of you who've not seen it - Archer is an animated comedy set at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS), a spy agency where global crises are merely opportunities for its highly trained employees to confuse, undermine, betray and manipulate each other. Sterling Archer, deemed the ‘world’s most deadly secret agent’, does his job purely for the accompanying jetset lifestyle of women, parties and fast cars!
The series is voiced by H. Jon Benjamin (Family Guy) as Archer, Jessica Walter (Arrested Development) as Archer’s domineering mother and boss Malory, Aisha Taylor (24) as Archer’s ex-girlfriend Lara Kane, George Coe (Saturday Night Live) as Woodhouse, Archer’s long suffering butler, and Judy Greer (Love and Other Drugs) as Cheryl, Malory’s ditzy secretary.
It is hugely entertaining and bloody funny! Well worth adding to your DVD collection.

The UK's only all-male gay Latin and Ballroom dance team won through to the semi-finals of Sky 1's Got to Dance and will be seen on the show on February 6th.
Guyz in Sync are twelve gay men aged 27 to 50 from various professional backgrounds who first came together to compete at the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) sports event World Outgames 2009 in Copenhagen.
In their first competition they took the Gold medal. In August 2010 they brought home the Silver from the Gay Games Cologne, retaining their title as the world's best all-male Latin and Ballroom formation team. Got to Dance is their first major step towards bringing the exciting world of same-sex Latin and Ballroom dancing to a broader public.

What exactly is it that makes a 'star'? We have spent many hours debating the question; usually when yet another press release extolling the virtues of a musician, actor, model or writer as 'the next big thing' arrives. In many cases though a better choice of words could be 'here today, gone tommorrow'.
Once in a while though somebody comes along who does make you sit up and take notice and it is into this category that we'd firmly place Mr Jonathan Lovitz, a very talented and annoyingly good looking actor whose career in theatre, film and television is steadily rising stateside.
His resume lists everything from puppet skills to history nut and he's appeared in productions of Chicago, The Little Shop of Horrors and the Laramie Project and on MTV's The Set Up Squad to name but a few. He's also a friend of reFRESH founder and Editor-in-Chief David Tickner who is famously hard to impress, "after one conversation I felt as though I'd known him for years. A truly talented and extremely inspirational young actor who very much deserves to see all of his dreams become a reality."
He's just signed with a new theatrical agency and in his own words, 'is on cloud nine' which is where you'll find yourself when you scroll down and see some of his pictures (courtesy of his website)!
Looks aside this guy is the real deal and we're going to watch his progress very closely...
